Tourism Development in Myanmar – Insights into the system<\/p>\n
With the benefits of the latest political and socio-economic transformation processes already being felt, Myanmar (formerly Burma) has experienced rapid growth in tourism demand in recent years and is beginning to diversify its range of tourism products and services. Dr. Nicole Haeusler, since more than four years Advisor of the Tourism Ministry, Tourism business associations and the recently established Myanmar Responsible Tourism Institute, gives an insight into the politics of tourism development in such a transformation process.<\/p>\n
